Frightened of Floors!

Meet Jack tonight in an all-new episode of Dog Whisperer, 9P et/pt!
NAME: Jack
BREED: Labrador Retriever
AGE: 3 ½ Years
ABOUT THE DOG:
Black Labrador Jack has been with owner Jim Solis since he was a three month old pup. Because of Jack's great nose and excellent prey drive, Jim had him evaluated to be a Detection K-9, and Jack did very well. But in order for Jack to be enrolled into the program, he must get over his apprehension to slick and shiny floors. As a Detection K-9, Jack needs to be able to enter any type of building or structure without hesitation.
ABOUT THE OWNERS:
Jim Solis has been a fish and game warden for 23 years and a former US National Park Service backcountry Ranger. He also referees basketball games, competes in mountain bike triathlons, and is an instructor for Defensive Tactics and Firearms.
BEHIND THE SCENES:
Because the fish and game wardens don't have home offices, the Dog Whisperer crew had to tape the session at the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. The station's firemen stood by quietly as Cesar and Jack made use of the shiny linoleum floors.
Elvis: All Shook Up!

Meet Elvis in an all-new episode of Dog Whisperer, tonight at 9P et/pt!
NAME: Elvis
BREED: Jack Russell Terrier
AGE: 8 Years
ABOUT THE DOG:
Jack Russell Terrier Elvis came into Alex Tillson's life in 1999 when she purchased him from a breeder. She had done her research, met Elvis's parents, and saw nothing unusual about them. But ever since he was a puppy, Elvis has had a weird aggressive fixation with the dishwasher and garbage disposal. Elvis' aggression isn't just toward home appliances, it also applies to dogs.
ABOUT THE OWNERS:
Alexandra Tillson is a former entertainment lawyer turned stay-at-home mom. Her husband Bill is president and COO of a high definition media facility. Both Bill and Alex grew up with dogs.
BEHIND THE SCENES:
Elvis isn't the first dog featured on Dog Whisperer to have an animosity toward home appliances. Season One's Rana had an irrational fear of the toaster whenever it popped. and Season Four featured Zena, a dog who tried to escape the home whenever her owners cooked on the stove or did their laundry.
Rambunctious Charlotte

Meet Charlotte tonight in an all-new episode of Dog Whisperer, Friday, March 20, 9P et/pt!
NAME: Charlotte
BREED: Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier
AGE: 8 Months
ABOUT THE DOG:
Vince Van Patten and Eileen Davidson decided on the hypo-allergenic Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier because of Vince's son Duke's allergies. They brought Charlotte home when she was just two months old, and she was just as rambunctious then as she is now. As soon as Charlotte arrived at the house, she jumped out of the car, pounced on Eileen and Vince's son Jesse, causing him to fall and hit his head. Playtime with Charlotte often turns rough. When the family is in the pool, Charlotte jumps in and tries to get at them, often scaring the kids.
ABOUT THE OWNERS:
Emmy Award-winning actress Eileen Davidson originated the role of Ashley Abbott on "The Young and the Restless" and "The Bold and the Beautiful." She also became the first performer on daytime television to play five separate characters at the same time on "Days of Our Lives." Vince Van Patten, son of actor Dick Van Patten is the host of the World Poker Tour.
BEHIND THE SCENES:
A production crew member offered Cesar a wetsuit for the pool portion of Charlotte's rehabilitation. Cesar declined, thinking he wouldn't get wet. But as soon as he saw Charlotte's behavior in the pool, he was forced to jump in, clothes and all!
Special Announcement: Cesar Milan Officially a US Citizen
Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan took the oath today to officially become a U.S. citizen. Cesar, who passed his citizenship test earlier this year, attended the swearing in-ceremony this morning with dozens of others in Montebello, Calif., just north of Los Angeles. Cesar was joined by his wife Ilusion and two sons, Andre and Calvin, who attended to cheer him on (they are already U.S. citizens).
"This is the ultimate culmination of living the American dream," said Millan. "Becoming an U.S. citizen has been a goal of mine since I first came to this great country. I have much to thank this country for, and all of the success it has afforded me and my family, and now I am proud to be a citizen."
Straight from Cesar earlier today...
"For many years now, I have been a legal resident of the United States and considered this country my home. Today I officially become an American citizen, and I could not be more proud!
Immigrants such as myself come to the United States because of the opportunities available here. You are free to be the person you choose to be spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually. The sky is the limit! My story is just one example of that. I came here with nothing but the clothes on my back, and through the kindness of strangers and hard work, I was able to see my dreams become a reality. Now, by spreading my message of balance, I work to give back to a country that has given me so much."
Be sure to drop a note of congratulations to Cesar right here! He'd definitely appreciate it!
