Well, I'm sorry. I waited eagerly for this show, and it was just awful. It was all over the map - MRI scans, African revolutionaries (murderous thugs, actually), a potty psychologist and his dreadful experiment from the 70's. At the end of an hour, the conclusions that could be drawn were, power corrupts, and absolute power yadda yadda, and that our emotions and our reasoning are sometimes in conflict when making tough moral decisions. Really? Gosh!

The psychological experiment was creepily interesting at first, but there was no info on how the test subjects were chosen (Prisoners from the same pool as the warders? Why didn't the prisoners just quit the experiment?), and except for the "absolute power" thing, the only solid conclusion that could be drawn was that the psychologist should still be serving a prison term.

"Science of Evil" was worse than bad TV, it was bad science.
