Note to Dr. Joyce Poole:
In 2001, on my first of 8 photosafaris in Kenya, , we witnessed a charge from a large bull elephant in Amboseli: target, two young Maasai morani. Our Land Rover played a role in rescuing them from being trampled. We have photographs and some video of this incident, and could make it available to your research efforts, if needed.
