SHARK FEEDING SHOULD ABSOLUTELY BE CONTINUED!
I have been on several Shark Feeding Dives and DO NOT feel that it domesticates the SHARKS in any way...
It's interesting to watch them feed and see them up close.
YES
It should be allowed. I work at a marine lab. I asked the shark specialist here about it. I had heard about this months ago. So I asked him and he said, "Hand feeding sharks can become a problem, mainly because sharks have the ability to learn. They will eventually associate divers with food, which is not good for the diver or the shark. However, divers feeding sharks has little to do with sharks attacking people. A diver looks very different from a person playing around in the surf. I do not believe that there is any evidence that shark attacks have increased due to divers feeding sharks. Plus, divers are only rarely attacked by sharks. So, I would say that the statement is false."
Are you allowed to feed the birds? Not always. Because they'll get attracted to you and depend on humans for food. Do you really want that to happen with sharks? Picture a shark swimming up to a fishing boat wanting the fishing boat to share its' catch with them. What will they do? Will they rampage the boat? Will they flop on their bellies and flap their fins together. I don't know, but I sure don't want to find out.
Yes it should be allowed
but not by hand but maybe just throwing some food out from a boat and watching them come eat or else the sharks in that one area may start only depending on humans mor than there hunting skills just as how zoo animals do.
