i think Jiu-jitsu is the most effective. while most think it's the more boring part of watching MMA, it can be the most painful and destructive. learning where all the pressure points is really fascinating.
You see I have this combination i want to test out.
Boxing, Jiu Jutsu and Capoeira. You have Boxing which is all puches, Capoeira which is 100% kicks too, and then jiu jutsu which takes care of anything inbetween from grabs, throws n floor fighting.
good combo no?
i would rather prefer wu-shu ,tai-chi mixed with tae-kwon-do.as wushu goes for flexibility ,tai chi for control and power {both in and out} and tae kwon do for its kicks.
I think kung fu is the best all around martial art .
next best would be ninjitsu.
Jiu-jitsu is not designed for multiple opponents.
no this is not a good combo
Boxing, Jiu Jutsu and Capoeira and I will tell you why.first of all as I said jiu jutsu is only designed for one opponent at a time.
boxing is the worst martial art ever invented because it is the most predictable and non menuverable.Last and very least Capoeira is a horrible martial art as well because it was designed to fool you.Problem is anyone that studies martial arts is not going to be fooled and is going to nail you fast right when you start your stupid dance or they will just walk away and wait for you to stop jumping around like an idiot.
Now for real life all those styles are hard to learn and take years to perfect and you want to learn them all be real this is not a comic book. most martial artists will tell you being perfect at one is better then being crap at two or more.
I am not familiar with wushu unless yor talking food.
tai chi is not a martial art it is an exercise to harness yourself
tai kwon do is good enough on power, flexibility, kicks, and hits without adding anything else.
Well I don't have much time, but my statement goes to the series, "Fight Science: Special Opps." Nat Geo did not find, the true reason of why a human being is able to perform
surprisingly better under catastrophic conditions. My theory is that the mind and body takes automatic action. The mind, when trainned correctly, has extreme focus and determination. The body, once triggered by the determination by the body, adreniline kicks in creating a more foucused, determined, and accurate soldier.

no martial art is good for everything , each one was designed for the task at hand , ninjas needed stealth , karate on okinawa was designed for use against armoured samurai , most martial arts today focus on the sport and recreation side rather than real life survival in the combat zone
a few years back there was an open tournament for all martial arts , and the thai kickboxers reigned supreme , but that was a tournament , how would a thai kickboxer do against an armoured samurai without the technique used in the karate punch ? or how would they do in a war against krav maga trained israeli troops? if one martial art was really effective in all areas then that martial art would have been the only one we would know. all other would have died out over the years.
After 17 years of MA training, I've got to say, hands down, Krav Maga.
KM is quite literally anything and everything that keeps you alive at the end of the day.
