How about neither? Gross

Clearly, this is not a question you actually want people to think about; it is simply for shock value. Come on! How about giving some context to give people a reason to contemplate what SEEMS to be strange about other cultures.

Actually the Taboo site has a game (?) that goes into this more and I think provides context.

It's truly amazing to see what is "normal" in other cultures. Some of it is too gross for me, but it's really intereting to see live in the eyes of somebody across the world.

Seems this world is getting closer to antichrist with each new TV show that reveals what is actually taking place. I understand that each culture has its own beliefs and 'spiritual practices' and is certainly entitled to worship anyway it pleases. I don't know what National Geographic's stand on the Bible is, but wouldn't it be fair to show the life and practices of people who belief in, and practice the true God, the Lord Jesus Christ, and let people know that He is coming again and will judge this world of its pagan, satanic worship?

I would not choose any of the two. For one thing, wearing neck rings is a kind of oppression especially to women. For another, such cultural practices like neck rings and fish hooks should be abolished because it endangers the health of people applying it. Moreover, people can still hold on to their beliefs without harming their bodies.

History/ Social Studies Teacher:
To answer the question at hand instead of being difficult...I would pick the rings for obvious reasons. when I watched the program, it explained that the rings don't actually hold the heads up, contary to popular believe. The rings are not tight, and it's not actually a rings its just one rod that can bend...so to answer the question I would wear the rings:)

I don't see why people get so offended by questions like this. I mean, it's not like we're actually going to do this to you. I may only be 17, but I am smart enough to realize that the hook is much more painful and potentially deadly from infections, where as the neck rings won't cause infection, bleeding, etc. So obviously, I agree with the teacher. Rings are a much smarter decision

well...its a preety complicated question though. but i dont how that necklace can be fit in that woman neck?
and how can that fish hooks can be like that, while the hole that fish hooks make is so small??
i mean is he tear his lips first? well i dont know..
i dont like spider or dog, im a vegetarian.
so i wanna some explain first, how can that two thing can be in our body?
cheers

OUCH!!!
