Lockdown: Life on the Outside - UPDATE
Since the making of this film, Donovon's managed to stay out of trouble, but is struggling financially. He's picked up temporary and day-labor work, but has not landed a steady job due to the rough economy and his ex-felon status. He's trying to do the best he can for his family, even as he struggles to establish himself. His brother James and sister LaToya remain out of jail. Donovon and Eva are doing well and he says he loves being a dad to her.
Donovon and his girlfriend LaTosha are proudly expecting a baby boy in December. He says the coming arrival of their new baby makes his search for a full-time, permanent job all the more urgent. Donovon is willing to relocate to work long, hard days. He says he's just looking for a break.
If any viewers have any job opportunities that they would like to forward to Donovon please e-mail him directly at Donovon.Green@yahoo.com

I cried so HARD for this man (watching the show yesterday)!
Donovan you are in my prayers. I know it's not worth much, but your beautiful heart shows through EVERYTHING! From the first show until now, it's so very evident that you have a wonderful soul.
I so wish I had a job to give to you and I'm praying daily that God blesses you with success..
thanks for the update
thanks for the update
If I had a business, I would not hesitate to hire Donovan, this man has changed and I would hope that someone in Los Angeles take a chance on him. I like how he was so forthcoming and that should account for something, I know that some one out there will take a chance on him. My son and I watched it when it came on again. I have prayed for him and I only wish him the best.
That was really nice Samantha, I feel the same way, you know what they say if 2 or more of you come together, that's me you and Donovan and his mom.
It is the only episode that I watched all the way through and if I had a business I would not hesitate to hire this man. He was so upfront and the people still wouldn't hire him, we all make mistakes and need a second chance. Please someone take a chance on this man if you have a business in LA, I know that he would be the best employee ever. I will continue to pray for you Donovan.
I watched this episode and I was moved by Donovan's determination to move forward despite the obstacles tossed at every turn he made. I pray that he gets a job to support his family. His plight is typical for a black man in America, especially if incarceration is apart of his to re-entering society
What a touching story! Everyone needs a second chance. I just emailed him offering him a job in the SoCal area. I will keep this board updated on whether he responds or not. Whether or not he responds I will continue to pray for him and his family.
Sorry if this is an inappropriate way to use this forum but I have emailed the general NG mailbox and have not received a reply. We are interested in purchasing Lockdown: Life on the Outside for our community college media collection and I'm wondering when it will be available. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
I saw this show for the first time and it caught my attention. I think someone should start a checking account for Donovon and if people feel like giving a donation and at the same time helping him find a job. This man needs someone to give him a chance because at least he is trying to change the mistake he made while his teenage years.
I would love to get direct info to see how is everything working for Donovon, and if I could help please let me know how.
