The narration style and writing were so irritating I had to turn it off.
Just give me the science and save the drama.
The animations were very good it's too bad the rest was unwatchable.
I agree. Stunning visuals, but I would have much rather have watched it without any narration. A friend of mine contacted me afterwards to see if I watched it and he said it was "empty calories for the mind" and felt dumber for having watched it.
Empty calories for the mind feels a bit extreme- this wasn't on TBS. The writing was at times over the top - probably to fill the 2 hours, but there was a ton of info. It wasn't a hard science show, however, it was an animated documentary - the black holes show on after it was awesome and more of a hard science show. Its okay to sit back and enjoy cool animation sometimes
