Heating a New Home

The Earth's population keeps growing, but unfortunately for us, Earth itself is staying the same size. Seems like it might be a problem someday, doesn't it?

A possible future solution? Move to Mars!

There's no life on Mars today mainly because it's far too cold. To make it habitable, we'd have to warm it up.

But how?

Mars: Making the New Earth premieres tonight at 9P et/pt, part of Expedition Week.

This all seems like a great idea, but what about the magma underneath Mars? Is there still liquid magma flowing under the planet or has that cooled down too much too? Does the magma on earth keep the planet warm?

I don't think we should even consider teraforming another planet such as Mars, because we have'nt been able to control ourselves or our OWN enviroment here on planet earth. We are as of yet, incapeable of controlling ourselves in our waste and enviroment,so why would we assume we can control another world's resources?!
